Born on January 23, 1971, in Enidje Vardar, Greece, he graduated from Thessaloniki University. He has held various editorial positions and currently manages Diastixo.gr, a prominent Greek online platform for literature and culture. Tsitas's debut collection of short stories was published in 1996, followed by his acclaimed novel 'God is My Witness' in 2013, which won the European Union Literature Prize and has been translated into numerous languages.
