Major D.P. Singh is a retired Indian Army officer and Kargil War veteran recognized as India's first blade runner. Following an amputation, he took up running with a prosthetic limb and completed 26 half-marathons, including events at high altitudes. Notable honors include being named in the Limca Book of Records and receiving national awards for exemplary courage. In 2019, he made history as the first solo skydiver with disabilities in Asia. His inspiring journey was documented in 'Grit: The Major Story,' a graphic memoir coauthored with V.R. Ferose and Sriram Jagannathan.
