Maj Nodermann (1925-2019) was a Swedish ethnologist known for her focus on Swedish folk art. She worked at Jamtli from 1953 to 1964 and then served as curator at the Nordic Museum from 1964 to 1990. Nodermann completed her doctorate in 1990 at Lund University with a thesis titled 'Mästare och möbler,' which explored Jämtland painters, sculptors, craftsmen, and their works. She was the daughter of composer Preben Nodermann, and they are both buried at Norra cemetery in Lund.
