Magnhild Rygg (1936–2023) was a Norwegian local politician who served as the mayor of Bygland municipality from 1981 to 1987, representing the Centre Party. She was the first female mayor in Setesdal and had previously served as deputy mayor for two years. Rygg was a teacher by profession, moving from Trøndelag to manage her family farm before working at Bygland and Grendi schools. Besides her political involvement, she was active in various community organizations, including bands, women's groups, and historical societies. She had three children, one of whom, Leiv Rygg Langerak, later became mayor.
