Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar, also known as Guruji, was the second Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a prominent Hindutva organization. Born on 19 February 1906, he played a crucial role in shaping Hindu nationalist thought in India. Golwalkar introduced the idea of a cultural nation termed Hindu Rashtra, which is linked to the Akhand Bharat concept. He is recognized for his influential writings including 'We, or Our Nationhood Defined' and 'Bunch of Thoughts,' a collection of his speeches. Golwalkar passed away on 5 June 1973.
