M. Kalai Arasu, born on July 15, 1954, in Turburea, Gorj County, is an Indian politician. He served as a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly representing the Anaicut constituency in Vellore District as a member of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK). He was expelled from PMK in February 2014 after meeting Chief Minister Jayalalithaa of the AIADMK. In February 2016, he officially joined AIADMK and resigned with other MLAs. He contested the 2016 elections but lost to A. P. Nandakumar of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam by nearly 9,000 votes.
