Mohammad Anwarul Azim was a prominent industrial administrator and a martyr intellectual in Bangladesh. He was born on December 13, 1931, and was tragically killed on May 5, 1971, during a mass extermination that claimed the lives of around 200 of his colleagues in Sagar Chattar. Anwarul Azim played a significant role in Bangladesh's struggle for independence and was posthumously awarded the Independence Award in 2018 for his contributions to the Liberation War.
