M. A. Jalil, also known as Major Jalil, was a prominent figure in Bangladesh's fight for independence. Born on February 9, 1942, he was a brave freedom fighter who played a significant role as a political and military leader in the 9th Sector during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. His contributions to the country's struggle for freedom have been commemorated, and he is remembered as a national hero. Jalil's life came to an end on November 19, 1989.
