Lum Pao-Hua (1906–1965) was an Australian tennis player who later represented China. Born in Melbourne as Stephen Gordon Lum, he moved to China in 1928, where he became a Chinese citizen and competed in the Davis Cup. He was inspired by Gerald Patterson's game and became friends with notable figures, including Emperor Puyi. Lum had a number of tournament appearances, including the Australasian and French Championships, and later relocated to Hong Kong in 1949. His unique story includes a narrow escape from Japanese torture due to his tennis skills.
