Louis Ribes was a French priest and artist born on September 18, 1920, in Grammond, Loire. He became known for his stained glass windows, Stations of the Cross, and paintings found in various churches in the Lyonnais mountains and the Beaujolais Vert during the latter half of the 20th century. Ribes signed his artworks as 'RIB' and was nicknamed the 'Picasso of churches.' However, in 2022, he was posthumously accused of sexual abuses against numerous children, raising significant controversy regarding his legacy.
