Louis Andrew Riley was an Australian rules footballer born on September 7, 1909, in Granville, New South Wales. He played for Melbourne and Collingwood in the VFL during the 1930s, primarily as a half forward flanker. After beginning his career with Melbourne, he joined Collingwood in 1934. In 1935, he achieved his career high with 38 goals, contributing to two premiership teams in 1935 and 1936. Riley retired after playing two more seasons with Collingwood, leaving a legacy in Australian football.
