Lída Clementisová, born Ludmila Pátková, was a Czech opera singer, librarian, and the wife of Slovak lawyer and politician Vladimír 'Vlado' Clementis. Born on July 4, 1910, in Prague, she came from a prominent family. After moving to Bratislava, she pursued her education in singing and graduated in 1933. Clementisová began her career at the Slovak National Theatre, initially as a chorus member and later as a soloist. She was known for her contributions to music during a politically turbulent time in Czechoslovakia.
