Leo Robert 'Bugsy' Koceski Jr. was an American football halfback born on January 28, 1929, and passed away on September 21, 2021. He was dubbed the 'Canonsburg Comet' and is best known for his role in Michigan's undefeated national championship football team in 1948. Koceski also contributed to the 1950 Big Ten championship team, which famously triumphed over California in the 1951 Rose Bowl.
