Lena Merete Roer is a Norwegian fiction writer and indie author born on April 28, 1969. She graduated as a copywriter from Westerdals Reklameskole in 1993 and has been freelancing since 2007. Her debut novel, 'Ringrosen', released in 2014, is based on her grandmother's upbringing in early 20th century Kragerø. The sequel, 'Tideverv', published in December 2016, follows the story of Randi through faith, doubt, and resilience, touching on women's struggles in the post-World War I era. Roer operates her own publishing house, Calendula forlag.
