Leisha Teresa Harvey, born on April 4, 1947, is a former Australian politician who served in the Queensland Legislative Assembly for the National Party from 1983 to 1989. She represented the Greenslopes electorate and was appointed Minister for Health under the Mike Ahern government from 1987 until her dismissal in 1989. Following her defeat in the December 1989 election, Harvey faced legal troubles stemming from the misuse of public funds, leading to a high-profile trial and subsequent conviction in 1990. She served five months in prison and an additional seven months in home detention.
