Lee Hyeong-geun was a South Korean weightlifter born on December 7, 1964, in Gangjin County. He competed in the 1980s and represented his country at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where he won a bronze medal in the lightweight division. In addition to his Olympic success, he also achieved a notable second-place finish, earning a silver medal at the 1990 Asian Games. Lee's accomplishments made him a respected figure in the sport until his retirement.
