Larysa Hryhorivna Skrypnyk (April 21, 1921 - August 13, 2004) was a prominent Ukrainian linguist and professor. A graduate of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, she served in the Red Army during World War II. Her academic career included teaching Ukrainian language and conducting research at the Institute of Language Studies. Skrypnyk specialized in Ukrainian lexicography, lexicology, linguostylistics, and phraseology. She authored several monographs, including works on the language and style of Ukrainian prose, and contributed to major dictionaries, earning the State Prize of the USSR in 1983.
