He began his career at Motala Tidning and worked for several notable newspapers, including Östgöta Correspondenten and Expressen. He also wrote under the pseudonym 'Malge.' In addition to journalism, Malgefors acted in a couple of Swedish films, including 'Flickorna' and 'Äppelkriget.' His literary work includes the book 'Soldat -59,' published in 1959.
