Avetisyan has held a prominent academic position as the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs at Yerevan State Medical University since 2016. Additionally, she serves as the president of the Armenian Association of Preventive Doctors, contributing significantly to the field of preventive medicine in Armenia.
