Lafayette Napoleon Dumas was an American outfielder in the Negro leagues during the 1940s. Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, he played for the Memphis Red Sox from 1940 to 1941. In just 14 recorded games, he achieved ten hits, including one home run and three RBIs out of 40 plate appearances. His baseball career was cut short when he passed away at the young age of 22 in 1943.
