Kwang-sŏp Kim (金珖燮) was a Korean poet, translator, critic, and independence activist active during the Japanese occupation of Korea and in the Republic of Korea. Born on September 22, 1905, he was a member of the Jeonju Kim clan and used the pen name Isan. After his death on May 23, 1977, the Isan Literary Prize was established in 1989 to honor his spirit and literary contributions, administered by Munhakgun and Intelligence Society.
