Kurt Lindlgruber was an accomplished Austrian sprint canoeist born in Steyr on November 1, 1934. He was active in the competitive canoeing scene during the 1960s, where he excelled in the K-4 1000 m event. His most notable achievements include winning a silver medal at the 1966 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships held in East Berlin and competing in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, where he finished seventh in the same event. Lindlgruber passed away on October 20, 2013.
