Kurt Koppel (born April 18, 1915, in Vienna; died after 1945) was an Austrian official of the youth organization of the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ) and also a secret agent for the austrofascist state's police and the Gestapo in Nazi Germany. He is known for his role as an agent provocateur, responsible for the arrest of Austrian communists and the uncovering of communist resistance. He served as a local Gestapo leader in the Independent State of Croatia during World War II and later assisted Ustascha officials in fleeing at the war's end.
