Kung Wei-yi (November 7, 1939 – February 26, 1989) was a prominent Chinese scholar and the 78th direct descendant of Confucius. He held the position of the last Yansheng Gong (the official title given to the Confucius family head) and was the first worship official of Confucius, alongside his father Kong Decheng. His lineage traces back to the influential philosopher, highlighting the ongoing legacy of Confucianism in China.
