Pallewatta Gamaralalage Kumarasinghe Sirisena, born on February 18, 1962, is a Sri Lankan business executive known for his tenure as the former Group Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom. He has a background in managing the Sri Lankan State Timber Corporation from 2005 until 2014. Following his brother Maithripala Sirisena's presidential campaign, Kumarasinghe was controversially appointed chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom despite opposition from the Prime Minister. He has also served as his brother's coordinating secretary during his tenure as Leader of the House in Parliament.
