Kōken Hibata (October 4, 1920 - February 18, 2002) was a Japanese ceramic artist and local historian born into a lineage of Bizen shrine priests. After retiring as the director of Bizen Public Hall in 1970, he dedicated himself to pottery. He was recognized as a nationally designated traditional craftsman and was involved with the Japan Crafts Association as an executive and judge. His accolades include the Minister of Education Award and Okayama Prefecture Governor's Award.
