Kojiro Nakamura (Japanese: 中村 廉治郎) is a Japanese translator and researcher specializing in Islamic doctrine and history. He is a professor emeritus in Islamic studies at both the University of Tokyo and Oberlin College. He was the first professor appointed to the Islamic studies department at the University of Tokyo, established in 1982. Nakamura translated and commented on parts of Al-Ghazali's 'Revival of the Religious Sciences,' completing it in 1992, a pivotal work for the Islamic Texts Society. He extensively analyzed Al-Ghazali's works and translated some into Japanese.
