Kōji Wada (January 29, 1974 - April 3, 2016) was a Japanese rock singer best known for his song 'Butter-Fly,' the opening theme for the first season of the anime series Digimon Adventure. He released his first album in 2003, which featured many of his previous songs. Wada passed away on April 3, 2016, from complications of laryngeal cancer, just five days after releasing his last song 'Seven' for the Digimon Adventure tri films.
