Kōichi Miyazaki (July 21, 1918 - August 31, 2008) was a Japanese scholar of English literature, born in Nakano-go Town, Gunma Prefecture. He graduated from Tokyo University of Education and completed a master's program at the University of Colorado. He earned a doctorate from Tokyo University of Education in 1973 with a thesis on 'The Intrinsic Structure of Later Dickens' Novels'. He served as an associate professor and professor at Japan Women's University and Seijo University, becoming president of Seijo University from 1985 to 1991. He was awarded the 3rd class Order of the Rising Sun in 1992.
