Klaus G. Jaeger was a German film enthusiast, collector, and organizer born on August 6, 1939, in Siegen. He led the Filmforum of the Volkshochschule in Düsseldorf from 1973 until his death. In 1979, this institution was renamed the Film Institute of the State Capital Düsseldorf, and in 1993, it became the Düsseldorf Film Museum. Jaeger contributed significantly to the promotion and organization of film culture in Düsseldorf until he passed away on January 20, 1997.
