Klaus Dreyer, also known as Jaakow Dror, was a German-Israeli occupational physician born on June 25, 1909, in Cologne and died in March 1999 in Ramat Gan. He was trained in Germany but faced persecution as a Jew after 1933, which led to the revocation of his medical license. He emigrated to Palestine in 1936 and worked for the Hagana and Palmach from 1942 onwards. After the Israeli War of Independence and further studies, he became a professor of occupational medicine at Tel Aviv University.
