Kjell Remy, originally Runefjord, born on April 9, 1927, in Malmö, is a Swedish painter and graphic artist. He studied at Essem-skolan in Malmö from 1952 to 1957, and traveled for studies to Yugoslavia, Greece, and Paris. Remy exhibited at Galerie Colibri and Galerie Moderne in Malmö and participated in group exhibitions arranged by Skånes konstförening and Föreningen Graphica. His artwork features spontaneous compositions using vertical and horizontal lines that suggest landscapes and figures. In his youth, he also played water polo and was a member of the Skåne champions team in 1954.
