Kiyoshi Ejima is a Japanese politician from the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), born on April 2, 1957, in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. He has served in the Sangiin, Japan's upper house of the National Diet, since an election in April 2013. Previously, he was the mayor of Shimonoseki from 1995 until 2009. Ejima studied chemistry and energy engineering at the University of Tokyo and has held teaching positions. He was re-elected in 2016 and 2022, winning over 60% of the votes in each election.
