Kim Mun-suk (1927-2021) was a South Korean civic activist and social activist known for her work on justice for comfort women. She co-founded the Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan in 1990 and published a book in 1992 detailing the experiences of Korean military comfort women. She served as the president of the Busan Council on the Issue of Military Comfort Women and established the Museum of Korean Women's History in Busan in 2004. Her activism was later portrayed in the film 'Herstory,' which was released in 2018.
