Khushi Ram (7 August 1936 – 29 December 2013) was an acclaimed Indian basketball player, known as 'The Scoring Machine of Asia.' He represented India in numerous international competitions and served as captain of the national team during its inaugural appearance at the 1965 Asian Basketball Championship. His career spanned from 1964 to 1972, and he was honored with the Arjuna Award in 1967 for his contributions to the sport. He was also the father of Ram Kumar, a former national team captain and recipient of the Dhyan Chand Award.
