He served for 30 years at the Executive Yuan's Cultural Construction Council, holding the position of director multiple times. He was instrumental in arts and drama policies, restructured military theater troupes in the 1990s, and worked on establishing the National Center for Traditional Arts. He passed away due to complications from cancer.
