Keishi Saeki is a Japanese economist and philosopher, born on December 31, 1949. He is an emeritus professor at Kyoto University and a special professor at the Center for the Future of the Mind at Kyoto University. He has served as a professor at Shiga University and Kyoto University, focusing on research in coexisting civilizations, contemporary civilization, and modern social theories. Saeki was also a member of the Central Council for Education at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. His notable works include 'Hidden Thinking' (1985) and 'Liberalism in Modern Japan' (1996).
