Keidō Fukushima was a Japanese Rinzai Zen master and abbot of Tōfuku-ji in Kyoto. He was ordained as a monk at the age of 14 and completed his training under Boro Okada and Zenkei Shibayama. During his tenure, he welcomed non-Japanese practitioners, including American Jeff Shore and German Muhō Nölke, former abbot of Antaiji. Fukushima played a significant role in the spread of Zen practice beyond Japan.
