Kazuo Tanaka (December 26, 1903 - August 3, 1998) was a Japanese legal scholar specializing in Anglo-American law and civil procedure. He served as an emeritus professor at Hitotsubashi University, Kyushu University, and Dokkyo University. Born in Yamada Village, Iwaki District, he contributed significantly to legal education in Japan. His notable students included Michiharu Ikeda and Masuo Uotani. He was taught by Kenzo Takayanagi.
