Katsumi Matsuzaki was a Japanese official born in February 1901 in Tokyo. He was active in the Esperanto movement starting in 1916 and was a representative committee member of the Japan Esperanto Institute in 1925. Matsuzaki collaborated with the Youth League, a former socialist group, and authored several works, including a translation of 'The Life of Zamenhof' in 1923 and 'Easy Reading with Commentary' in 1924. He passed away on February 2, 1926, in Tokyo.
