Katsuichi Nagai (April 14, 1921 - January 5, 1996) was a Japanese editor and businessman, known as the founder of Seirindō and the first editor-in-chief of the manga magazine 'Garo.' He played a significant role in the manga industry, discovering and nurturing many talented artists including Shigeru Mizuki and Takao Yaguchi. Under his leadership, 'Garo' became a platform for avant-garde and alternative manga, influencing the landscape of Japanese comic art greatly.
