Kateryna Oleksiivna Shkabara (born December 1, 1912, in Khotyn – died November 21, 2002, in Kyiv) was a Ukrainian cybernetics scientist. She played a significant role in creating MESM, which was the first electronic computing machine in continental Europe. Her contributions to the field of cybernetics were recognized when she received the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine award named after S. O. Lebedev in 1991.
