Born on December 6, 1930, she notably remained a member for most of the community's history, contributing significantly to its development. Her daughter, Josie, was also a participant in the community's life during her adolescence and early adulthood. Kinkade's commitment to the principles of intentional community living marked her legacy until her passing on July 3, 2008.
