Kao Chih-peng, born on May 28, 1954, is a Taiwanese physician and politician affiliated with the Democratic Progressive Party. He hails from Magong City in Penghu County and has served as the county magistrate. In 1995, he faced scrutiny when a pharmaceutical company donated NT$5,000 to a health center where he worked, leading to accusations of corruption. He was temporarily suspended but was later acquitted by the court. Notably, he remains the only Democratic Progressive Party member to have served multiple terms as the magistrate of Penghu County.
