Justina Aldalur was a Basque member of the clarist order and a bertsozalea, born on November 27, 1922, in Zialtzeta, Aia, Gipuzkoa. She entered the convent at the age of 17 and lived a cloistered life. At 44, she moved to Urduña, where she adapted a spiritual work into Basque, composing a 1,532-verse work about the life of the Virgin Mary. She passed away on April 8, 2010.
