He achieved notable success by winning a gold medal with the Lithuania national basketball team during EuroBasket 1937. In 1930, he moved to Lithuania as a sports instructor in Kaunas and participated in various sports activities. He later returned to the U.S., residing in Tucson, Arizona, where he passed away on July 7, 1981.
