Jun Nakano (August 22, 1925 - March 23, 2017) was a Japanese painter specializing in oil painting. He was the representative of the Shinsakuka Bijutsu Kyokai and an emeritus professor at Musashino Art University. Born in Tokyo, he studied under notable artists and became the secretary of the Nihon Bijutsukai. Throughout his career, he received several prestigious awards, including the Pushkin Museum Prize in 1957 and the Koyo Keizo Art Prize in 1994. His works are part of the collection at the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum.
