Juan José Pérez Rangel, also known as the Putxet killer or the parking lot killer, is a convicted murderer from Barcelona. He was found guilty of the brutal murder of two women, Maria Àngels Ribot and María Teresa de Diego, using a hammer in a private parking lot in the Putxet neighborhood in January 2003. At the time of the crimes, he was 24 years old, and the court determined he acted with sadism. He received a maximum sentence of 52 years in prison for robbery and murder, inspiring the film 'El asesino del parking'.
