He won the 2015 National Rodeo Championship with Luis Ignacio Urrutia, riding 'Arremángamelo' and 'Preferido', scoring 37 points. This victory surprised media and spectators at the Medialuna Monumental in Rancagua, where he edged out the Vista Volcán and Santa Isabel teams. By the end of the 2014-2015 season, he topped the riders' ranking with 212 points. He is the brother of former Chilean champion José Tomás Meza.
