Juan Antonio Martínez Camino is a Spanish Jesuit priest, appointed auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Madrid and titular bishop of Bigastro on February 17, 2007. He served as secretary and spokesperson for the Spanish Episcopal Conference from 2003 to 2013, during a decade marked by significant events for the Spanish Catholic Church, including the World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid and the beatification of 522 martyrs of the Spanish Civil War in Tarragona. His public prominence was heightened during controversial relations with the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
